This is the new Mitsubishi Pajero 2021 (Pajero Sport) - Legend SUV! 2021 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport would debuts with an updated design, and new tech. Check out the interior, exterior, features, technology, and safety system of this off-road SUV in this video. Comment down your thoughts!

The main design change takes place at the front where the Pajero Sport (sold as the Shogun Sport in the UK and Montero Sport in other markets) adopts Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield identity. The new headlights and grille look very similar to the Triton/L200 pickup on which the Pajero Sport is based, with only the bumper looking slightly less rugged than the trucks.

Another minor difference regards the combination lights placed under the headlights. Less visible to the naked eye is the 2020 Pajero Sport’s higher bonnet which contributes to a more imposing appearance. The rest of the bodywork does not seem to feature significant changes bar some subtle updates to the rear bumper, new wheels, and a sporty roof spoiler.

Another area where Mitsubishi operated changes is the interior which is said to offer more quality and comfort courtesy of updates such as a refreshed center console, soft padded door handles, new AC power outlet added on the rear passenger console, and a storage space located under the center armrest.

Equipment-wise, the facelifted Pajero Sport benefits from the new 8-inch Smartphone-Link Display Audio (SDA) infotainment system, a new 8-inch color LCD meter in the instrument panel, and the Mitsubishi Remote Control keyless operation system which allows the driver to open or close the doors using their smartphone — including the new power tailgate.

As with the facelifted Triton/L200 truck, Mitsubishi has given the Pajero Sport enhanced safety features including Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) functions.

Nothing changes from a mechanical standpoint as the rugged SUV carries on with the 2.4-liter MIVEC four-cylinder turbo diesel engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The latter channels the engine’s 181 PS (178 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels via the same Super-Select 4WD-II system which now offers a new off-road mode and a newly-designed switch.
