2022 Hyundai, Kia, Genesis New Models Launch Dates! IONIQ 6, Kia EV6 GT & Seltos, Hyundai Palisade!

2021 was an unbelievable year for the Hyundai motor group, having released a record number of new I-C-E, and electric vehicles alike. The release of the Tucson-based Santa Cruz Sports Adventure Vehicle, in particular, will go down the history as Korea’s first non-commercial truck outside the domestic Korean market. Also, the Korean auto giant has earned all kinds of accolades for introducing the company’s very first dedicated electric vehicle, built from scratch based on its newly developed EGMP E-V platform. The state-of-the-art 800-volt EGMP-based IONIQ 5 and the Kia EV6 have helped the Korean company to garner various awards, including German Car of the Year and TopGear’s Manufacturer of the Year.
If 2021 signaled the awakening of the Hyundai group as an E-V powerhouse, 2022 is to be the first year in which the number of electrified models is to outnumber the ICE products.

If 2021 was a year of the awakening of Hyundai as an E-V powerhouse, with the successful introduction of the highly advanced Hyundai IONIQ5, and the Kia EV6 that set a new benchmark in terms of the charge speed, and the refinement and quality in electric vehicles that have never been seen before, 2022 promise to be another chaotic year for the Korean auto giant. We mean chaotic in the most respectful ways, as Hyundai group that includes Hyundai and the E-V exclusive sub-brand IONIQ, Kia, and the luxury division Genesis, will introduce no less than 20 new electric and I-C-E cars, throughout the globe.
Recently, we were able to receive an insider report on the production schedule of the new models that will make their introduction in 2022. The list is quite extensive, but we’ll focus our attention on the models that will most likely make their way into the North American, European, and Australian markets.
